In two days it’s December 1st. How many of you have bought advent calendars? The opening of new doors.  Our world is CRAZY right now. At Zest4Talent, we could easily refer to the media rhetoric. Yes, there is uncertainty, however, there is also opportunity, and that’s the path Zest4Talent always choose.

Recruiters are often shown in a negative light. It’s funny how the roles of those we need estate agents, lawyers, accountants, I could go on, are viewed in such an unflattering manner, when all we’re trying to do is get the very best outcome for our clients and candidates.

For recruiters, there is no denying that the most credible of candidates are being snapped up. Clients don’t have the luxury of taking time to have multiple candidates to consider as a comparison.

At Zest4Talent, we recently sourced a formidable candidate. They had already been offered a role which ticked all the boxes for them in regards to salary, benefits, career progression etc. Yet, we had a role that we really wanted them to consider. They listened. There was no uplift in salary or benefits, but it was the client’s reputation that was the clincher. The candidate allowed us to pitch their qualities. They trusted in our advice. They saw that we were proactively opening other doors for them.
