Sustainability Consultant or Senior Consultant (Energy)

£45k – £55k basic

Our client, who have a global presence, are looking for a creative and driven Consultant or Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their Sustainability Team.  The role is based in Reading, in a hybrid role attending the office 3 days per week.

The role

  •  Modelling and analysis, including building performance simulation, operational energy use, energy generation, overheating.
    •    Supporting on energy strategies, leading sustainability innovation on a number of developments.
    •    Supporting the development of holistic Sustainability Strategies
    •    Assist in the delivery of environmental assessments (such as BREEAM, WELL, HQM, etc) from  early design stages through to completion.

You will ideally have experience in:

  •  Energy strategies
    •    Building Regulations Part L assessments using Elmhurst and IES
    •    In-Use energy modelling and assessment
    •    Dynamic modelling for thermal comfort assessments and overheating risk assessments
    •    Production of and support of planning submissions.
    •    Net zero carbon strategies.
  •  Experience working within the built environment sector.
    •    Already working within a sustainability or engineering consultancy, you will be looking for a new challenge within a practice at the very forefront of our field.
