£45,000 DOE + Bonus | Remote (UK-based)

For almost 15 years, our client has grown into one of the UK’s most respected and highly regarded independent energy consultancies, trusted by national developers, architects, and contractors.

Their success is driven by a team of technically skilled, commercially astute specialists with backgrounds in major national developers. They pride themselves on offering innovative, cost-effective solutions that support clients from early-stage planning and design through to physical testing at handover.

They are now looking to appoint a Business Developer join their expanding team — someone who can combine technical understanding with genuine commercial flair.

🔍 The Role

As Business Developer, you will:

• Develop new client relationships while nurturing long-term existing accounts
• Engage with developers, architects, planners, and construction professionals across the UK
• Promote services covering SAP, SBEM, BREEAM, Acoustics, and wider building compliance
• Work collaboratively with a highly motivated technical team
• Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and online presentations

This is a remote-based role, open to candidates located anywhere in the UK, with nationwide clients.

🧩 About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has technical knowledge of building compliance (SAP, SBEM, BREEAM, Acoustics or similar)
• Thrives on opening doors, generating new business, and managing key accounts
• Understands the construction / development lifecycle
• Builds rapport quickly with technical and commercial decision-makers
• Enjoys working as part of a close-knit, supportive team
• Brings drive, confidence, and passion for sustainability and building performance
